Our picnics appeal to the discovery of the local nature and gastronomy. They were designed with products coming directly from small producers, with whom we established a relationship based on trust, in order to raise awareness of the flavors of each territory.
By having Fátima Moura, a renowned gastronome, writer and food researcher, as co-founder of the project, the stakes were high. She carefully studied the local gastronomies and, with the help from local chefs, transformed some iconic dishes from the region in picnic food, finger food, without losing their territorial identity. In each backpack of a Genial Picnic you will find the matrix of a regional cuisine and our commitment to quality.
