This is a barbecue picnic, served as a buffet, takes place on board a Dutch sailing barge, built in 1913, while sailing in the calm waters of the Alqueva’s Great Lake, for a 3 to 4 hours trip. On request, the boat may stop in the Golden Island, between the castles of Monsaraz and Mourão, and depending on each group’s desire, the picnic may be enjoyed abord or on one of the lake’s sandy beaches, over some blankets.
